Traffic Stop in Jamestown Leads to Arrests on Multiple Charges – WNY News Now

(WNY News Now) – Two individuals were apprehended on N. Main St. near 15th St. during a routine traffic stop at approximately 8:56 am on September 18, 2023. The incident resulted in a series of charges, including aggravated family offense, criminal contempt, possession of a controlled substance, false personation, and possession of stolen property.

Jamestown – In a morning traffic stop that escalated into multiple arrests, the Jamestown Police Department encountered Keith J. Seice, 36, and Brandon W. Shutt, 27, on September 18, 2023. The stop occurred on N. Main St. near 15th St., revealing a complex web of alleged offenses.

Upon investigation, it was determined that Keith Seice had an active order of protection preventing him from contact with two individuals inside the vehicle. He allegedly had initially provided a false identity to the officers. Subsequently, he was taken into custody. During the arrest, a search of his belongings allegedly uncovered a quantity of fentanyl and stolen credit cards.

Meanwhile, Brandon W. Shutt, another occupant of the vehicle, was also detained after being found in possession of a small quantity of fentanyl. Both individuals were transported to the city jail without further incident.

As a result of these events, Brandon W. Shutt faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh degree, while Keith J. Seice is charged with Aggravated Family Offense, two counts of Criminal Contempt in the First degree, False Personation, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh degree.

Both are currently held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
